Slip Ring, as an indispensable component for Wind Power Generating Set, plays a key role for transmitting the energy and the signal between its rotating and static parts. If its main control system would be like the brain of a giant and its paddle would be like an arm, so the Slip Ring where is hidden in the deep position of the cabin acts as its nerve center for connecting the above-mentioned. First, the outer cover and the inner core would be like a solid body

In the structure of the Slip Ring, the carbon brush and the guide wheel act as the important components for realizing electric transmission. The carbon brushes can be made of different materials including graphic, composite metal or fiber for the purpose of realizing excellent wear and conductive performances, ensuring keeping stable electric contact in the period of its long operating. And, the guide wheel is generally designed a round or cylindrical shape for the purpose of matching up its carbon brush in the process of its rotating operating. The above-mentioned design will not only provide a larger contact area but also reduce friction resistance, ensuring the stable operating of the Slip Ring.

 

Four, precious bearing would be like a bodyguard for ensuring a stable operating

 

In the process of the high-speed rotating operating, the motor will bear a huge mechanical stress. Inside the Slip Ring, there is a small and precious steel bearing for the purpose of ensuring a stable operating of the rotor at a high speed, not only protecting the system against mechanical breaking down but also prolonging the overall service life as longer as possible.
