Brush Holder remains a mechanical device for fixing and supporting Carbon Brush which contains metal support, spring hold-down mechanism, wire connection terminal and insulated material as well. It functions as consecutive carrying the current for the reason that it can stable press Carbon Brush on the surface of rotating Slip Ring.
In the field of Wind Power, especially in dual-feedback asynchronous motor (DFIG) and part in wound-rotor motor, rotor needs to connect electric device through slip ring system and external converter for the purpose of realizing excitation control and power adjustment.
